This past week, Mike Bailey, Field Rep; Pieroway Rod Company, travelled to Edmonton for a Spey casting discussion and demo with the Northern Lights Fly Tyers club. Mike fielded questions in regards to Spey techniques for trout, choosing fly line and how to adapt and apply ones single-hand techniques to a double handed Spey rod. The weather cooperated and allowed Mike to demonstrate how to address and execute casting, as well as how to get the utmost performance from your Spey rod.
