I managed to get out today to photograph a few blanks for our archive. I headed down to a local park situated on the Bow River. The particular spot I had chosen had a few large rocks that were always well out of the water, but due to the amount of rain we have received, only a couple were showing. I chose one of the larger ones with a nice flat top and began photographing a few of the blanks a had with me. As I was finished with one, I would return to the bank, put it away, and grab another. In between one of the sets, I returned to my rock to find these two Stoneflies in a rather revealing scenario unfolding before me. Since I was there first, I didn't think they would mind me snapping a few shots of them in action. I laid the blank down and they actually crawled right over to it and held still for a brief moment. Please enjoy the photos as much as the participants.
We are thinking of making these into some sort of logo for a T-shirt. If you can think of a good slogan/catch-phrase to go with it; please visit us on Facebook and add it to the wall. Have some fun with it!
